[Y/N] had always struggled to put effort into anything, despite the immense potential simmering beneath the surface. Ever since that fateful day when everyone began to see him as a freak, a monster, he had resigned himself to apathy, allowing the world to shape him into someone who barely tried. Even the Great Change two years ago, when magic surged into the world and monsters emerged from the underground, failed to spark any motivation within him. But now, with his mother deciding it was time for him to live with his aunt, a flicker of hope ignited within him-maybe this move would bring about a change. Maybe, just maybe, something good would finally come his way.

But something is preventing her from reaching her goal. It isn't anything about her art style, or her coloring skills, or even what she prefers to draw. No, this girl is half human, half skeleton. Yes, and most humans strongly dislike the monsters. The ones that don't strongly dislike them don't care, and they are the ones that buy (Y/N)'s art. And the monsters themselves, of course. Since she was little, she was hoping so very much to be able to take a trip to the Underground to meet some monsters, especially Mettaton, who was rumored to be the most popular monster in the entire Underground. She has finally saved enough money to buy a car, but... someone beat her to it. A little kid named Frisk has set them all free, and they have been roaming around for two years now. A few months ago, I thought about redrawing the only two designs and reviving it as well as changing most of the original plot and instead of making a comic series, I'm writing it so it will be easier to think about more designs. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I heavily dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. Papyrus for Sans, and I really liked the idea of a creepy UT! Papyrus and decided to write a short story on it. Also, Frisk can't reset, she never had that ability. The cover is my own art.)
