Milae couldn't understand why Sorren wasn't home yet, nor why no one was telling her anything.

Milae, Virginia, Waylen, Sai, and Sorren all have their own stories. It would be impossible to fit it all in one book. One fateful night, everything changes. Sorren disappears, Waylen is freaking out, Virginia knows the whole story, Sai is somewhere, and Milae is nothing but confused. When the police show up at their door, looking for Sorren, claiming he was the main suspect in a murder, Milae knew that it couldn't be true.

Sorren isn't human, in a way. He was born to human parents. He is genetically a human, but he will always be incapable of feeling human emotion. He will hurt people without remorse, laugh at dead roadkill and make a person so crazy they will either kill him or themselves.
