After a mysterious lockdown of the Hadal Blacksite, Urbanshade dispatches its first group of "expendables," convicts of a high-security prison sent to retrieve a crystal to be pardoned. Among this group is Ally, Tim, Marina, and Steven.
But this is no normal blacksite. As the four progress further into the maze of rooms, they discover things that should never have been found...things that are hunting them down. One misstep could lead them to their unfortunate demise. The prisoners must learn to work together to make it back to the surface alive.

WARNINGS: This fic starts off pretty tame, but there is mild gore and heavy swearing. Later on, around chapter 10, things start to get heavier in terms of gore and violence. There is also some pretty heavy smut. The characters are both consenting adults! :)

Before you knew it, however, you walked into what had to be door number fifty by then, and a vent's cover flew off onto the floor. "Psst! Over here..." called a voice. And despite your reluctance, you didn't have much of a choice. So, you crawled into the vent anyway to see the most interesting specimen - or fish, rather - you'd ever seen.
