The year is 2035, alien drop pods have fallen out of the sky and destroyed major cities, alien troops known as Hostile Alien Lifeforms (HAL) expanding like a swarm of locusts. In the Edmonton Impact Zone (EIZ), an outpost known as Ariadne has been built, like other outposts its function is to study the HALs and defend humanity. In the midst of the chaos, can love be found, or will the aliens crush it just like everything else?

The very one that modern Human civilization is now built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.
