Aria Parley, a 18 year old in her final year of high school has just secured a position in a big name university! The only problem: she has one year to live and she doesn't know it yet!

Xander, a 17 year old boy in his final year of high school has just become the grim reaper. He's signed a contract to keep living.. but he didn't read it through, and now he's stuck with a new, slightly unconventional job. The only problem: He doesn't want to reap souls! 

Xander meets Aria, only to discover he's a year early, and she's just found out she's got a heart disease and one year left to live. However, noticing his reluctance to do his job, they strike a deal. Aria continues living, and helps him reap souls.
