"What's your name?" He demanded.

Her voice shook as she replied, "inara...my name is inara".

"Inara" he repeated, her name rolling of his tongue with a chilling edge. The way he said it sent a shiver down her spine,the strange blend of fear and something else--- something she couldn't place.

Inara breathe quickened, and panic gripped her chest, she sank to her knees, her voice barely a whisper as she pleaded "please...let me go. I didn't see anything, i swear i didn't see anything"

Her mind flashed back to the woods, to the shadowed figures and trembling scene she'd stumbled upon. She couldn't forget it. And now facing him, she felt her fear deepen.

What if he did do her what she'd seen him do with others.

Without warning he reached down, his hand gripping hers with an iron strength as her pulled her to her feets. His dark eyes bore into her, filled with a chilling certainty. His face was so close that she could feel the closeness of his breathe.

"If you think you can escape me," he murmured, his voice dangerously soft "you're mistaken, Amore."
