To quote someone, no one can teach you how to write-because life is the one who would teach you how to pen the beginning, climax, and end of your story-but what if you don't like how life writes it?

Athanacia Norainne Samonte only has one goal in life-to write until she's out of breath. She loves writing, as much as how the sun always shine after the night has fallen back to slumber. Kaya naman nang makita ang oportunidad na maging script writer ng isang student director na si Kiran Conjuanco-she did her best to be the only option that Kiran could consider. He was her stimulus to write better so he could only set his eyes on her written crafts.

Yet, writing was never easy. In this economy, she has a lot to consider when it comes to pursuing passion over practicality. She has to brace herself from the criticisms that barks and bites her whenever they can. She has to see that she's never going to be the best writer-because there will always be someone who writes better. She has to accept that sometimes writing. . .isn't just writing.

When life gives her a script that should have been shelved, can Nacia act off script from this film turning into tragedy?

There are two things Luningning Hope Solano can't give up: her favorite steamed egg and her impossible, toxic relationship with writing. After years of repeatedly unfinished drafts on her laptop, kasama na roon ang pag-iyak sa ilalim ng kaniyang kumot, Ningning finally gave an ultimatum to herself. Write one last book or forget her undying dream. Isa na lang. Kapag hindi niya pa natapos 'to, she'll kiss writing goodbye and move on. Maybe she'll go to law school. Or... open a sari-sari store. Basta not writing. Ever again. But how do you write such a freaking story when your brain is empty, sometimes scrambled, and your leads all sound like dry toast? Plain na nga, wala pang personality. She is indeed hopeless, as deemed by herself. Dahil kahit anong kalikot niya sa utak, she can't find any inspiration. Until she got hit on the head by a blasting spike of Sinoah Alvarez de Viana - a star varsity player of their university. Messy hair. Golden skin. Walking sunbeam. And a kind of charm that made her want to grab her laptop right there and then. He's loud. He's sweaty. He spikes balls for fun. And he's unfortunately perfect for her male lead. Ningning swears! It's all for her book. But why is it every time she sees him smile, toss, serve, and spike the ball, all she can think about is writing a slow-burn romance where he and she are the leads? Good lawd. That's definitely not the match point muse she had in mind.

IN 90'S YEARBOOK SERIES 1 "What if the only thing I'm good at... is pretending I know who I am?" Yelena, the fierce and untameable BS Psychology student from La Azuca, was known for her sharp tongue and her refusal to be controlled. Nobody could dictate her. . . except maybe her grades. Despite her tough exterior, one of her biggest struggles was academics. Kung hindi lang parang kinahid ng manok ang test paper niyang punung-puno ng itlog, baka akalain pa niyang nasa bukid siya! Yelena never had a dream. No five-year plan. No passion she'd fight for. She absolutely loathed Psychological Statistics----almost as much as she hated Lorenzo Felerienzeno. He was just another reminder of her frustrations, another surface to pour her endless contempt on. Because no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to understand it. . . or recover from it. But somehow, in the middle of her confusion, in the middle of the sorrowful fires she thought would consume her----he stayed. This is how, in the middle of being lost, Yelena slowly found the courage to look for herself. Published: June 8, 2025
