Ellie was a commoner's daughter who lived a life of poverty. Her father was the only family she had now, although she could hardly call him that.  Her travels to the market were few and the only friends she had were the boys in her village, Michael, Calum, and Niall . They kept her sane and made her life as a peasant somewhat bearable. 

Luke is the most prestigious prince in his land, but when news arrives of the King marrying another Queen from another far off land things begin to change. The need to please the King becomes imminent with his other brothers, Ashton and Louis, as well as his new ones, Liam and Harry.
