Cassandra has fallen far from the dedicated lady-in-waiting she used to be. She holds power now, her chance to win glory far beyond what Rapunzel could ever achieve. With the incantation that enabled her to harness the full power of the moonstone, she became unstoppable, the fate of the very world balanced on her fingertips.
Yet, somehow, the princess still manages to defeat her in battle, to outshine her as she has always done.
In the aftermath of this encounter, Cass finds herself feeling empty, alone, and... homesick?
An injured alchemist, a vengeful ghost, and a chance at redemption spin the world around her, making her wonder: Is immense power really worth it, no matter how far you fall?
