In the aftermath of the events of Sonic prime things are slowly going back to normal and a new era has began within the Shatterverse, however not everyone is having an easy time.
Rusty Rose the former cybernetic enforcer of the Chaos Council has found life difficult and now that she doesn't have a reason to fight her existence has become hollow and cold.

After all how can a cyborg made for combat and following the orders of a group of evil dictators live a normal life?

And to make matters worse Rusty Rose is now beginning to have dreams, dreams of a forgotten past long buried by her programming.
Like a volcano ready to burst, old memories and emotions are now overwhelming her, threatening to drive her mad.

And so Rusty makes a bold choice, instead of suppressing her emotions she now wishes to embrace them.
Survival required adaptation and so Rusty decided to upgrade her slowly rusting and warn out mechanical body and make herself new.

Now she has a new name: Robo Rose, a name symbolic of her new mission.
She does this for one reason, to redeem herself from her past actions and perhaps help the person she used to be.
