Elodie Grace is your stereotypical girl in the 1950's. She's expected to go to school till the end of highschool, then settle down with a strong man and become a dutiful stay at home wife.

But of course, she doesn't want that. Who would?

This whole perspective changes when her mother hands her a letter from Gale Nolan, inviting her to be the very first female to attend Welton Academy.

She's delighted, of course. 

How could anything go wrong?
