Inside the Kim empire takes place a battle for power between the four sons. One of them has to inherit the business and become the head of the family, yet making the choice proves to be quite difficult.

Kim Seungmin seems to be the obvious choice as he is the only biological child of the Kim couple. However, his adopted brother, Han Jisung, manages to make an impression and amaze everyone he encounters with his skills.

Their rivalry leaves a bad taste in the mouths of their siblings, Lee Felix and Yang Jeongin, who despite stating that they do not want to have anything to do with their company, are still stuck in between the cross-fire.

Things drastically change in their dynamics the moment Jisung hires new bodyguards to protect his family because, ironically enough, these four well-trained fighters are the sole reason the siblings start opening up about their wounds and the corruption within their own home.
