When Eggman attacks the Festival of the Sun, Sonic finds himself on a quest to rescue Soleanna's princess from the mad doctor's clutches.

When a mysterious stranger appears in Silver's future with the promise to fix it, he finds himself unable to refuse and embarks on a manhunt in the past for the Iblis Trigger.

Their paths converge, and it seems their journeys might not be so different after all. But can what blossoms beneath their tension withstand the end of the world?
