After the death of his girlfriend, Vanessa, Wade Wilson is a complete wreck. He finds himself practically living at Sister Margaret's, and Weasel begins to grow worried about his immortal friend.

So, when (Y/N) (L/N), a merc-in-training, walks in, Weasel has the brilliant idea of pairing the two together on missions. After all, (Y/N) needs the training, and Wade needs the emotional support to get back in the merc game.

Weasel's plan works out for a while. Wade is recovering, and he is slowly morphing back into his old self. But, things don't go as planned when he begins to fall for his new partner in crime.
