Eons ago, long before the concept of time or the birth of existence, there dwelled a primordial entity-a being of unfathomable power born from the Abyss itself. Known as The Syntax, it was the ultimate architect, an all-encompassing force of creation and destruction.

From its boundless essence, The Syntax sought to craft a fragment of its Abyss-a canvas upon which it could mold a new world. However, the result was far from perfect. The raw, chaotic energies of the Abyss rendered the creation unstable, corrupted by the overwhelming filth of untamed power.

Realizing the flaw, The Syntax made a profound decision. It took a piece of its own essence, a shard of its infinite being, and purified it-cleansing it of the Abyss's corruption. This purified fragment became the foundation of its ultimate Creation.

From this divine fragment arose The Creator, the progenitor of existence itself, who shaped the world and its order. To aid in this task, The Creator brought forth four primordial beings, each imbued with unparalleled authority:

A.X. - The arbiter of space and time, wielding the power to weave the fabric of reality.

The Paintbucket - The source of all life, bringing vibrancy and growth to creation.

Zinnia - The harbinger of death and imbalance, maintaining the equilibrium between life and decay.

Code X - The ultimate judge, bearing vast authority to oversee and govern all things.

Thus, the foundations of the world were laid, a delicate balance of creation, order, life, and entropy-all bound together by the will of The Syntax.

(A/N: This is a story with reader input in the form of the character (Y/N), who will be given the pronouns they/them so nobody feels left out, the dream SMP is real (not just a Minecraft server) and this story involves: Greek mythology, violence, romance, breaking of the fourth wall. If you're not comfortable with any of this, I recommend you do not read this. You can still do so, but then please don't be mad at me, since you just now have been warned.) -------------------- Months? Years? They truly couldn't tell anymore. The four walls of their cell looked all the same, and sometimes those walls would be the ceiling or the floor, and not even that could surprise (Y/N) anymore. This prison was quite lonely as well, and that wasn't even the worst part about it. The worst part was the cold reality of everything (Y/N) had done to get here. The bottom of the barrel - the worst scum one could become, that's what they were, and they knew it. But they would endure it until they died. They would sit here until their unavoidable demise, and they would do it for him. Just to see their best friend's face again. Maybe not in this life, but hopefully in another. And maybe then, they would finally be able to tell Wilbur how they felt. -------------------- Started on: May 20th, 2021 Finished writing on: September 8th, 2021 Finished editing and (poorly done) proof reading: September 23rd, 2021 Word count: 33.757

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine. (this is my very first novel. I got my inspiration from a nail clipper)
