The Right People Volume 4 : The End of Fear

Tom and his friends have survived all their adventures of the summer of 1971, But after returning to his boarding school in Sandhurst Dave experiences an ominous familiarity: he is being blackmailed again. He finds himself in situations that are incomparably more dangerous than those of the previous year, but to his astonishment he realizes that the fear that has always accompanied him on his adventures has now suddenly disappeared.

What follows is a chain of improbable coincidences - but if Tom has learned anything it is that there are no coincidences. During the turbulent weeks described in Volume 4, Tom finds to his relief that, true to the Old Man's words, he can count on one thing: that he and his friends will continue to meet just the right people during their new adventures - people who are friendly, have good intentions, and who will help them more than once when things get dangerous.

And then - in addition to all the other love affairs that develop within the group around Tom and Nikos - there is the continuing love triangle of Tom, Nikos, and Sophia, which appears to come to an end in this volume when Tom and Sophia officially get engaged. But sometimes appearances are deceptive...
