7 parts Ongoing Title: "Behind the Helmet"
Summary:
They were rivals on and off the field. Shubman Gill-disciplined, cold, always with something to prove. Ishan Kishan-loud, reckless, always pushing his buttons. The team called it "banter." But to Shubman, it was war. Until one rainy evening, after a particularly harsh argument, Ishan stormed off and didn't come back. A crash. A hospital bed. Two days of silence. And then-eyes fluttering open, revealing a side of Ishan Shubman had never seen before. Soft. Fragile. Breakable.
Now, Shubman isn't sure what's more terrifying-losing Ishan, or losing the fight against his own heart.

Opening Scene (Preview):
"Why don't you just grow up, Ishan?"
Shubman's voice rang sharp through the hallway. The rest of the team had already left the training ground, leaving just the two of them and the echo of their clash.
Ishan smirked, but his eyes weren't smiling. "Why don't you learn to laugh for once, robot?"
He turned, tossing his duffel bag over his shoulder, and walked off. Shubman watched him disappear into the rain, anger still boiling in his chest.
He didn't know those would be the last words he'd say to him. Not for two days.
