Two brothers find themselves laying unable to move and confused in the base's ICU. Neither one of them can clearly recall the events that led up to their stay in their less-than-comfortable beds. Both remember falling ill, but memories of ending up in the medical wing can't seem to be found. Even the memories of life prior to being dangerously ill seem to have suddenly gotten fuzzy. 

Now, Veil and Perrin are left with little choice other than to think back in an attempt to find any answers that they can. The biggest problem? They can hear strange noises coming from up above them late at night. It's not as simple as your typical creaky building sounds.
