"Liminal Descent"
Inspired by the collaborative horror universe of the Backrooms, where endless, liminal spaces hide untold secrets and dangers.

What begins as an ordinary forest exploration quickly turns into a surreal nightmare for Ren, a curious wanderer who stumbles upon a glowing, otherworldly orb deep in the woods. A single touch catapults Ren into Level 0, the eerie yellow maze of the Backrooms, where the hum of fluorescent lights never ceases, and the air reeks of damp carpet.

Armed with only his wits, a camera, and a few supplies, Ren must navigate the labyrinthine horrors of this bizarre dimension. Along the way, he encounters cryptic clues, strange objects like the lifeline that is Almond Water, and fragments of documents left behind by the M.E.G. (Major Explorer Group). These hints offer insight into the Backrooms' countless levels-some promising safety, others hiding unspeakable terrors.

As Ren struggles to escape, he learns that surviving the Backrooms requires more than endurance; it demands unraveling its twisted, enigmatic logic. But with every step forward, he faces the unsettling truth: the Backrooms aren't just a place-they might be alive.

This story expands upon the rich, collaborative lore of the Backrooms, blending suspense, exploration, and existential dread into a journey you won't forget.

This place doesn't feel real. Are the halls really that endless? Is it all the same? What lies ahead? One thing is for sure I know i'll be here for awhile.
