Trapped in a Love Story

"So, you don't have a wife?" her little son asked innocently, his words cutting through the air, causing the entire table to fall into a stunned silence.

She shot him a glare, silently warning him to be quiet with just a look.

He paused, then replied, "I don't," as his family exchanged surprised glances, clearly expecting him to snap or react harshly to the kid.

"My mumma doesn't have a husband, either," the little boy continued, as though he had just solved the most difficult puzzle in the world.

"I know," Vihaan responded, his usually cold demeanor softening into a surprising smile as he looked down at the child.

"Then why don't you marry each other?" the boy grinned, as if it were the simplest idea in the world.

The room went silent, everyone stunned by his innocent proposal.
