When a rogue Covenant fleet, led by the fanatical Prophet Ral'Koth, inadvertently stumbles into the Expanse universe, humanity finds itself on the brink of a war it never anticipated. Armed with powerful alien technology and a religious zealotry that borders on madness, the Covenant begin their invasion of the Solar System, attacking Mars and threatening Earth's very existence.

The crew of the Rocinante-Captain James Holden and his diverse crew-become humanity's first line of defense after a failed mission to infiltrate a Covenant ship. With the Covenant forces adapting to humanity's defenses and devastating Mars' fleet, the fragile alliances between Earth, Mars, and the Belt are tested like never before.

United by the threat of extinction, the factions of humanity must work together to decipher the Covenant's technologies and weapons while navigating complex political divides. As Covenant forces advance, it's up to Avasarala, Holden, and an unlikely coalition of Earth's leaders, Martians, and Belters to strategize a defense against a technologically superior enemy that will stop at nothing to annihilate humanity.

This epic crossover between Halo and The Expanse explores humanity's resilience in the face of an alien force far beyond anything they've encountered, testing the limits of their unity and pushing them into a fight for their very survival.

Deep beneath the industrial sprawl of Zaun, hidden in the smog-choked undercity, an ancient metal ring has stood for as long as anyone can remember-silent, inert, forgotten. Known only as The Dead Halo, it was thought to be nothing more than a relic of a bygone age. Until now. When the Rocinante, a warship-turned-free-agent vessel, is pulled through an unexpected activation of Ring Gate 432, Captain James Holden and his crew find themselves stranded in a world unlike any they've encountered. A world of shimmering Hextech, powerful chem-barons, and a city divided between progress and oppression. As they navigate the chaos of Zaun's underbelly and Piltover's gleaming towers, they quickly realize that their presence has upset a delicate balance of power-one that both sides are eager to exploit. Silco, the ruthless leader of Zaun, sees an opportunity to harness the Rocinante's advanced technology for his revolution, while the Piltover Council views the newcomers as a potential threat-or a resource to be controlled. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Jinx, ever drawn to chaos, takes a particular interest in the crew, especially the battle-hardened Amos Burton, whose reckless nature might just match her own. But the activation of the Zaun Gate has not gone unnoticed. Something stirs beyond the void, an echo of the Protomolecule's influence reaching across realities. As Holden and his crew struggle to understand how they arrived-and how to get home-they may unwittingly unleash something far worse than political intrigue. In a world where science and magic intertwine, and revolution simmers beneath the surface, the crew of the Rocinante will have to choose a side. Will they uphold their mission to protect humanity, or will they reshape the destiny of Zaun and Piltover forever? One thing is certain-whatever comes next, the Expanse has just collided with Arcane, and neither world will ever be the same.
