Amaris Riddle and Nymphadora Tonks are perhaps the most unlikely of best friends. Amaris is a Slytherin, the daughter of one of the most powerful dark wizards who ever lived, Lord Voldemort. Tonks is the daughter of Andromeda and Ted Tonks, the former being the sister of Bellatrix and Narcissa Black until she was disowned for marrying a Muggle-born. Tonks and Amaris had grown up together, and they had always been close. In their fifth year at Hogwarts, the best friends began to notice that their feelings for each other had changed in a way that neither of them could have predicted.

She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had.
