Park Sunghoon is a powerful and centuries old vampire, typically demeaning a cold and stoic facade. He craves power and blood, not stopping at anything to quench his thirst. Park Sunghoon loathes humans, particularly those who attempt to match up to him. Despite his family encouraging him to join the rogue vampires who often dominate the clans, Sunghoon despises it, enjoying his free will.

Kang Yuna is part of an anti-vampire mercenary organisation, often going out and killing vampires. Her hatred for vampires stems from stories and tales she's been told. Her fiery and cocky nature complements her job, the two working well together.

The two are forced into an uneasy alliance when a mysterious enemy group starts hunting them both. They come to realize that the bloodlines of their families are intricately entwined that neither of them can escape. Their unwilling partnership turns into a game of power, dominance, and passion-each trying to outwit the other, each refusing to submit.
