Bazz-B's sister is the special someone of Cang-Du's half-brother. The two Quincy met over a hundred years ago because of their siblings relationship and events relating to their siblings allowed the two to bond. Around a hundred years ago they find themselves raising the niece from their siblings relationship as if she were their own daughter, and at the same time they kept their relationship hidden from the higher ups within the Vandenreich. 

A hundred years later change is afoot because of the newest war between the Quincy and the Shinigami. Loved ones once thought lost are found.

Prejudical eyes followed Toshiro around as a child, before he went into the academy. He believed that no one outside granny and Momo thought of him as anything but a jinx. However, his careful eyes missed something he hadn't expected to see. Disclaimer - I don't own Bleach. Original publication 06-02-2009. Note: I've read a lot of stories where an OC is supposed to be Toshiro's childhood friend and it is their job to melt his heart so they can be in a romantic relationship with each other. The problem is that Toshiro was never able to make friends easily and his only relationships prior to becoming a Shinigami were his foster sister Momo, his granny and Kusaka from the academy. If he had just one friend things would be very different, but the writers always forget this fact. I asked myself what solution would I come up with and it was to create an acquaintance who has a crush on Toshiro but was always to shy to approach him. This also said, she's also they kind of girl that is very likely not to have her feelings reciprocated by the boy she likes.

Toshiro's mentally out of it after the war with the Quincy. Due to the fact he has had little interaction with his age group Ukitake and Kyoraku end up coming up with the idea that he should interact with the Kurosaki twins and their classmates in hopes that the boy will end up resolving certain aspects of his psychological issues but it is honestly also a gamble. Disclaimer - This is for the FanFicFriday challenge and should hopefully end up having five to ten chapters. I hope to actually get all prompts done.

This is both my NaNoWriMo project for 2014 as well as part of the Bleach Writing Divercity challenge. It is for l-20, which is to write over 100k for a multichapter or series over one NaNoWriMo and the month before/after. Special dedication for this series also goes to Lucanite who wrote Shinigami Kids Society as she and that work are a major inspirations for this piece. Story diverges from canon plot as of chapter 603. Finding Friendship has been in the plans for around four years. The story was always planned to be one of the AU routes I would take with Softly Snowing. Back then there were not nearly as many young characters in the series, but now there are more.
