This Stranger Things fanfiction explores an alternate story of Dr. Martin Brenner's demise, where he survives the bullet wounds, all thanks to a mysterious woman who wears a creepy Japanese mask. Able to revive some people shortly after death and having other quirks, Cordelia Love came to Brenner for help, for she wanted to know the origin of her powers and find her lost brother. She soon strikes a bargain with Brenner, agreeing to help search for Eleven and restore his operation in exchange for knowledge. However, Brenner soon grows concerned about his partnership with his savior after discovering her last name before being adopted as a baby was Creel. 
As the two race back to Hawkins for their goals and break the Upside Down's barriers along the way, Dr. Brenner and Cordelia realize they have a lot in common and are in more danger than ever before.(CC) Attribution-ShareAlike
