Noah tried to stay still. He really did.

But it was impossible.

"Do you need the bathroom?"

Noah's breath hitched. His face burned.

"N-No," he stammered quickly.

Alexander hummed, his voice dropping slightly. "Then stop moving."

Noah swallowed.

Then he felt it.

A shift beneath him.

A sharp inhale from Alexander.

His body locked up.

Alexander let out a slow, controlled breath. "Noah."

Noah stiffened.

"If you keep squirming," Alexander murmured, voice low and edged with something dangerous, "it's going to have effects I won't be able to control."

Noah's heart stopped.

"I am a man, after all," Alexander continued smoothly, his grip tightening just slightly on Noah's waist. "And I am physically attracted to you."

Noah sucked in a sharp breath. His entire body felt like it was on fire.

He didn't know what to say-didn't even know if he could say anything.

Alexander chuckled softly at his silence, his lips brushing lightly against Noah's temple. "You're cute when you panic."

Noah whimpered.

He hated how that reaction only seemed to amuse Alexander further.
