Letters to Twenty One Pilots

Do you remember the first time you heard a song written by your favorite band? Do you remember your first thoughts when you discovered them?
When I was younger I came upon this little band from Columbus Ohio, and their songs spoke to me with a depth that nothing - ever - had ever done. I was flabbergasted by how much I related to them and their lyrics. Immediately I felt the urge to talk to them, become their friend, anything that could help me feel closer to them. So I started writing letters, to Tyler and to Josh and sometimes to both of them.
This habit became a way of registering my thoughts about them and their songs as time passed. The letters ended up being the document of someone who's just discovered their favorite artist, from the moment I first related to their songs till I became the huge fan I am nowadays. So I decided to share the letters - and maybe add some writing of lately as well.
Of course, on a deeper level, my goal is for them to read the letters and answer them so we can finally become friends. In the meantime, while they still don't know I exist... enjoy |-/
