Modern AU wherein Zelda is the President of Hyrule and Link is head of her security force. *** During a tense year of unrest in Hyrule, Zelda finds herself faced with a problem; a problem in the shape of a renegade group of radicals which have been brainwashed into following Ganon, her political opponent and wannabe replacement. A night like any other turns into a struggle for the fate of Hyrule as Zelda finds herself the epicenter of an attempted murder. Needing to escape her assassins, Zelda must place all her trust in the hands of her Head of Security, Link. With the walls closing in, Zelda must get her hands dirty in order to protect all that she loves. *** If I owned The Legend of Zelda, you would definitely know about it. A rewrite of BOTW's story. It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity struck the land of Hyrule. After a century of slumber, a young Hylian awakens to find the world in shambles. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track, and maybe, just maybe, to find his place in the world. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. It's best not to mess with time. Zelda has been searching for Link for years after sending him off for his personal journey he never returned from. She's the only one who believes he's still out there, everyone else has moved on but her. She's stuck in a repeating cycle, her mind only focusing on one thing. {~Thank you, boi-o's for helping me reach #3 in Zelink! ^^~} Wild, lives in N.Y., New York, and is, like his name states, quite the 'Wild Child'. He's always wanted to be a detective, just like his father was. When he hears his best friend, Twilight, will be becoming a police officer, he has to join in! But, once his best friend, and comrade, unfortunately, passes away, how will Wild handle it..? (Detective! BOTW! Link x Chief! BOTW! Zelda!) I've had this idea for so long.. I wish I would have wrote it out sooner... (Also, I don't own any of the art that's used in here.. and Nintendo owns the characters!)

This is a fairytale AU retelling of Cinderella with Zelink! Yes this is Dual POV I switch between Link and Zelda :) Zelda is a girl who had lost her mother at a young age. Her life was flipped upside down by not only her mother's death but with her father remarrying a woman named Morissa. Zelda didn't realize how awful her new stepmother would be. She became a servant to her and her new stepsisters as she was forced to complete every task handed to her without complaint. But something doesn't feel right to Zelda, there is something going on that she can't quite figure out. Link is a prince who has been reminded by his father, the King of Hyrule, to find a wife before his nineteenth birthday. Link is having none of that. He really didn't understand why he had to get married so soon, he wanted time to find someone he loved not someone he had to pretend to love. He sneaks out of the castle every now and then, not completely unattended. Sometimes his appointed knight Sheik catches him in the act and follows him. Will Link find what he's looking for? I don't own Zelda, Link, or any Nintendo characters! I only own OC's that I make up! This is strictly for fun and because I want to write it!

Basically, Link is a boy who has brothers. And their names? Link. Which Link am I talking about? I don't know, they're all Link. This is mostly cute and fluffy brotherly interactions between the Links, plus some ridiculous things and humor and small adventures. Turning more and more into slice of life stuff by day, which I'm slightly disappointed at because I'm aiming for cutesy things. But hey, I still enjoy writing it so why not. As I usually say, good stuff are good when they're good. And when they're not? In modern day Hyrule, Link is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Because he is meant to be the Hero of Hyrule, his bunkmates get jealous and bully him for it. When Link enters first grade, he befriends Zelda, the most beautiful girl in Hyrule, and eventually falls in love with her. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
