Winter has passed quietly, following the events of last August. Maleficent is dead, Marcus Carr is hailed a missing hero, and Spider-Man continues to protect his people, with his stargirl right behind him.

As the new half term begins, and their final year of high school is well underway, the spider and the star are happy, preparing for the rest of their lives together. But something will always happen to throw a hero off his path, and in this case, it serves as a harrowing reminder of her past.

A string of brutal murders begins to plague the city, and all of them link back to one person. As old friends become new allies, life altering secrets are revealed, and inner turmoil spills out, the couple must find and destroy this lethal threat before it rips her from his arms forever.
