The Jackson 5 live in Gary, Indiana. The timeline for this story is different. It is 1970, and Joe Jackson, a widowed steel mill worker is now a single father trying to raise the five boys. They are showing signs of their musical gifts and are trying hard to please their father, but he just doesn't seem to understand patience or love. The only way Joe thinks he can gain respect is to be demanding and dole out harsh punishment if his sons do not comply. The boys don't have much freedom outside of going to school, playing small gigs, or walking to the store to get essentials. Jackie, the eldest, and with Tito's help, work hard to protect his brothers from their father's anger. This is a story of love, strength, and the music that keeps them together.

An old fashioned Story... A White Girl named Winnie and her Family move out to a small nearby rural countryside town called Sunny Ville. Winnie came from an all girls boarding school, and her parents do not except Black people into they're family or around they're community, only (what they class as) they're own kind of people. They don't approve of her dating anyone other than who they approve of, and they definitely can't be black. Michael is a young man who works at the Local Organic Fruit & Veg stop in the Town Centre of Sunny Ville in Mr Sail's Shop, they sell everything from Organic Juices, Fruit & Veg, Nuts and Seeds, even Homemade Bread. Winnie's Mother always goes down to the Local Shop for her produce with Winnie by her side. She won't let her tread into the town alone, as she wants to protect Winnie and keep her safe, making sure she behaves and doesn't step out of line. Winnie hates feeling trapped and having to go everywhere with her Mother, or take a private horse and cart to school, that takes her straight there and back everyday. She feels like a prisoner. Michael want's to break her out of her shell, and show her the World she is missing out on. During this time, it was unacceptable for Black and White to mix and if you were ever seen with each other, trouble would be brewing in the Town, and everyone would stare and despise on you. Mr Sail is a White man too, who agrees that Black and White people are fine to mix amongst each other. But he just pretends to the Town that he doesn't approve, and keeps Michael as his lower assistant worker when actually they get on so well, just so the Town wouldn't ridicule Mr Sail. Winnie and Michael laid eyes on each other when Winnie's Mother first went into the Local shop for dinner. That's where it began...

COMPLETED (REWRITING) Book 1 of the original series. To sum this story up decently, this is about a teenage girl named Kayla. Now, little stubborn Kayla has a fate unlike any other in the only known "first" physical plane: she is Michael Jackson's Chosen One. A mysterious force takes her to Heaven one fateful night after a tantrum. There, she and Michael meet up and begin new "second" lives as an attempt to erase the horrible memories of their first ones. However, trouble comes along the way. Like anyone else who begins a second life, they find out they are bound together- maybe not literally, but spiritually. They must work through their hardships and achieve three majors goals: live longer than their first life, achieve their major resolution, and not get killed in the process. So, I ask you to join Kayla and Michael in their fantastical journey through the planes and realms, into a little steeltown also known as Gary, Indiana, in the year of 1965. Enjoy this Back To The Future-esque tale. By the way, I intend on remaking this at some point. Please tell me whether or not you think I should redo this whole book! I'll leave links where I found information on Michael's life. Katherine Jackson's book, 'My Family'. http://jetzi-mjvideo.com/books-jetzi-04/kj/kj01.html Website: truemichaeljackson.com Many, many more stories to come from this! Rated PG-13. ***A BOLD asterisk at the top of a chapter means part of this chapter was based on real events.*** Copyright is prohibited.
