She tilted her head. "Jungkook," she started, testing the waters. "Do you... not like talking to people?"
He blinked at her. "What?"
"Like, you're really different with me," she pointed out, heart beating a little faster. "You're colder with everyone else."
Jungkook looked at her for a long moment before scratching the back of his neck. "I just don't like wasting my time."
"But you don't mind talking to me?"
He scoffed. "No, I don't mind." Then, a beat later, softer-"I like talking to you."
Her breath hitched.
He held her gaze, waiting. And for the first time, she was the one looking away first.
This was dangerous.
Because now, she couldn't unsee it.
