"No one is coming to save you."

Kassidy Waters, younger sister to Erinne Waters. She's always lived in her sister's shadow, never been quite as good at her in *anything.* Minus Soccer, that is. Kassidy has always despised Erinne's ability to be amazing at anything she tried. So when she found she was good at soccer, the only thing Erinne was terrible at, it became her thing, her sport, her pastime. But what happens when her escape becomes her prison on her way to Nationals? What happens when in those woods, she falls for someone, someone she'd never considered as an option before?

She's now 14 and is starting her first year as a freshman at high school. Though high school isn't going to be easy like it was for her popular, loud brothers. Jealousy. Heartbreak. Bullies. Pressure. Judgement. Adapting to a new change is hard. Bonnie can't quite take it, she gets overwhelmed, and her brain feels too 'busy'. She can't help feeling what it would be like if she wasn't there or if she stayed silent, nobody would notice. She doesn't crave to be a popular girl, or to be eye candy for the boys, she just wants to be known as 'pretty' and liked. Her worst nightmare is to be known as the far girl, or the ugly one. This need becomes overwhelming, and soon her body shuts down, and her mental health plummets. She does some things, things she will regret in the future yet in the moment cures her need to feel alive, it brings satisfaction. Will her older brothers be able to save her? "Stop, please just fucking leave us alone!!" Harley called out at the top of her lungs. It had been a quiet night until they left the cabin in search of help. They couldn't run, they couldn't escape. Harley was shoved to the ground, hard. He slammed his fist down on her chest with so much force the air in her lungs escaped. Harley gasped for air. The sounds of fabric ripping pierced her ears and more tears fell fast. Max laid sprawled out a few feet away. His motionless body sent chills down Harley's spine. She wasn't sure if he was still alive. "Please be okay," she whispered to herself. She could feel the blood flowing down her face and pooling to the back of her throat. She coughed out, "Please stop, why are you doing this?" "Because of you." He growled. The pain was too much to bare. Then, everything went dark. -- About six months later Harley and her family moved to Florida. After the incident, her parents felt she needed some time away from Ohio and the cold. So it worked out when her father's company had an opening in Florida. As she starts almost a quarter of the year in, Harley struggles to find her footing and live like a normal teenager. Would her new friends get her through it? Or does her past come back to haunt her? Warning: Graphic content, sexual, and physical abuse.
