The year is 2270, and the crew of the USS Enterprise bid farewell to Alexander Grayson, a kind and talented young man and the only cousin of Mister Spock, who is about to embark on a new journey aboard the USS Sagittarius, a Pioneer Class Starship. The Sagittarius is called to Edran IV to deal with an incident involving the Gorn, and Alex is thrust into a chain of events that will alter his life tremendously. Will Alex find his place in the universe, and learn what it means to go boldly where no one has ever gone before?
