Chasing Dreams

There was a time when he walked beside her, laughter woven into the wind, footprints engraved side by side in the sand. A time when dreams were whispered under starlit skies, when goodbye was nothing more than a word too distant to fear.

But then he left.

Years passed, and the echoes of his absence became part of her. She learned to quiet the ache, to paint her longing into colors only she understood. She told herself she no longer searched for him in the spaces between moments.

And yet-

When Yunxi returns, time does not. He stands before her, familiar yet unknown, like a song she once knew by heart but can no longer hum. His presence stirs the dust of forgotten memories, of laughter lost, of a bond severed too soon.

He does not ask for forgiveness. She does not offer it.

But in the spaces where words fail, where gazes linger and silence speaks, the past hums between them- soft, steady, waiting.

Because some dreams do not fade. Some dreams do not belong to the past.

Some dreams are meant to be chased.
