Andrew Byer Attorney born in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1962, grew up in a home infused with his Italian immigrant mother's heritage. This cross-cultural upbringing, which included time spent living in Italy, endowed him with a rich appreciation for diverse cultures. This foundation would later underpin his career in international law. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in 1984, where his educational journey was enhanced by a semester abroad in France.
After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1987, Byer began his legal career in South Florida. His early roles included serving as Lease Administrator and Legal Counsel at Miracle Marketplace in Coral Gables, where he skillfully managed lease negotiations and tenant relations, laying the groundwork for his expertise in commercial law.
In 1990, Byer's career shifted significantly towards international business when he became Director of Operations for Maria Pia, an Italian shoe manufacturer looking to conclude its U.S. operations. His fluency in Italian and extensive legal knowledge were critical in facilitating an orderly shutdown. He further honed his skills in international business from 1991 to 1994 as General Counsel and Director of International Sales at Intracorp, Inc., a video game software company. There, he was instrumental in securing licensing agreements with Hollywood studios for video game adaptations, which propelled the company's growth in international markets.
Beyond his business pursuits, Byer is actively involved in philanthropy, focusing on animal welfare and community support initiatives. Today, Andrew Byer continues to apply his vast experience in law and business to his real estate ventures, making significant contributions to his community.
