She wandered too far into the forest... again.
Barefoot, in a white dress that clung to her from the morning mist, she stood by the glowing lake, her reflection trembling on the surface.
She didn't know he was watching.
But he always was.
From the shadows, his eyes burned - not just with lust, but obsession.
She was his.
She just didn't know it yet.
When she bent down to touch the water, a deep voice behind her shattered the silence.
"Don't come here alone again."
She gasped, spinning around.
He was standing there - tall, terrifying, beautiful in a way that shouldn't be real. Darkness clung to him like smoke.
"Y-you scared me," she whispered, heart racing.
He stepped closer, slow... like a storm that knew it couldn't be stopped.
"Good."
His voice dropped lower. "Maybe then you'll understand... no one touches what's mine."
She backed away instinctively, her innocence like a fragile flame.
"I didn't know this place belonged to anyone."
He tilted his head, smiling-dark, dangerous.
"It doesn't."
"But you do."
And before she could run, his hand gripped her wrist - gentle, but unbreakable.
"You have no idea how long I've waited to find something this pure..."
His eyes locked on hers.
"I won't let the world ruin you. I'd burn it down first."
What happens when a demon falls for the soul he was destined to destroy?
In every birth, he finds her.
In every end, he loses her.
But this time... he'll burn the heavens if it means keeping her.
