After suffering the unimaginable-watching all his closest allies fall to a twisted, multiversal version of the Reverse Flash-Barry Allen is pushed past the brink of sanity. In the aftermath of his defeat, his soul is cast into the Echo Zone, a corrupted after-image of the Speed Force where broken speedsters and forgotten timelines bleed together. Time does not exist there. Only static.

There, Barry loses everything that made him a hero. His torn suit, now dark blue and streaked with green lightning, becomes the cloak of a being reborn in vengeance. No longer The Flash, he becomes something terrifying-Ghost Flash, the fastest and most unstable speedster to ever exist.

He doesn't return alone.

From the shadows of the Echo Zone, Ghost Flash unites a terrifying army of shattered speedsters-The Time-Bled-creatures twisted by failure, time distortion, and pain. They do not follow him out of respect, but from fear of what he might do to them if they resist. Together, they breach the living world through a rupture called The Faultline, launching a speed siege that stretches across cities, timelines, and dimensions.

But Ghost Flash's true goal isn't domination-it's retribution. In a chilling confrontation, he finds the Reverse Flash and warns him:

"I'm not going to kill you. I'll keep coming back... until you feel what I felt. Until your seconds rot."

By the end of Book One, Ghost Flash returns to the Echo Zone, dragging more broken souls into his grip. As green lightning cracks through that dead dimension, a new threat looms-not just to Earth, but to every reality connected to the Speed Force.
