Madeline Hayes has it all-wealth, status, the perfect boyfriend, and a reputation she'll do anything to protect. But when her grades threaten to ruin everything, she's forced to rely on: Brooke Winters. Sarcastic. Standoffish. And totally unimpressed by Madeline's world.

What starts as tension in a tutoring session turns into something far more dangerous on a school ski trip, where the two are stuck as roommates. Between icy slopes, long silences, and moments that feel like more than they should, everything Madeline thought she knew about herself starts to crack.

Brooke isn't just getting under her skin-she's getting closer to the truth.
And the truth?
It's terrifying.

20 parts Ongoing

"You dropped this idiot" she spoke holding her hand out with my timetable in it I went to grab it off her but she pulled it away from me with that stupid smirk on her face. "Pull me up and I'll give it to you" she said smirking as if knowing how much her presence annoys me I sighed loudly but that only made her smirk grow wider almost sadistic who am I kidding this bitch is definitely a sadist she loves making my life hell. ___ Rebecca Jones is a girl who just wants to feel loved for once and not a burden, but her enemy, who secretly is in love with her, made her feel worthless, and now she believes it. Each snide remark from her cuts deeper than she lets on, reinforcing the belief that she's unworthy of affection. Yet, beneath the surface of her pain lies a flicker of hope a desire to break free from this cycle of negativity. Isabella Diaz is someone who doesn't know how to express their feelings in a healthy way or how to control her anger. Her emotions often bubble over at the slightest provocation, leading to outbursts that leave her feeling isolated and misunderstood. Isabella sees Rebecca as someone who carries an invisible weight; she recognizes the sadness in Rebecca's eyes but struggles to find the right words or actions to reach out. Instead, Isabella's frustration pains Rebecca more.
