They were two sisters caught in tragedy. Two sisters who lost everything-except each other. Two sisters about to be drawn into a destiny they never could have imagined.

Hylla and Reyna Ramirez-Arellano had spent their childhood wrapped in an illusion of normalcy, their peaceful lives confined to a tiny coastal village in Puerto Rico. Their father's strict behavior was part of the reason-never letting them venture outside of their village, never answering questions about their mother, never satisfying their hunger for the outside world. They had no idea that beneath their happy little world, gods and monsters lurked.
But when a disastrous accident tore their lives apart, the two sisters were forced to flee everything they'd ever known-thrust into a reality of danger and uncertainty.
Drifting from one place to another with nothing to rely on but each other, the sisters forged an unbreakable bond-surviving by staying one step ahead, and staying together.
But as the truth of their bloodline unraveled and a newfound power awakened within them, their paths slowly pulled apart. Each realized and embraced her own path, discovering who she was truly meant to be.
All they had ever wanted was a place to belong-somewhere safe, somewhere lasting. But to find it, they would have to be more than survivors. They would have to summon the courage to face their past-and the resilience to overcome it.

And I have my wonderful, talented friend miabgeminius to thank for the stunning, most beautiful book cover ever!!!

{Book 3} Dying felt like flying. There is no escaping the eminence of dancing with time. Shadows are all around us in remembrance. Deep within the heart, mind, and soul sparks the very flames to ignite. From the ashes, we're rising. -- Mia B. Geminius, cover made by me The world is not horrible, it is the beings that are. It's not that the universe is ugly, for it is filled with such inexplicable beauty. There is no escapance from the reality of evil. From descendance, shooting stars fell down to Earth. Rising to ascendance, their wishes were granted by God as they were given the gift of having a consciousness. When you wish upon a star, your wishes are granted along with theirs. The sun, moon, and stars continue to fight against the wickedness and snares of evil itself. One fallen star, a half seraphim, two archangels, and the seven deadly sins never walk alone as they have one another; standing together through it all: days full of light & dark. Each of the eleven stars shine brighter than ever, drawing stars upon their scars, facing evilness head on. -- Mia B. Geminius, and so this story continues with all of its imperfections and inexperience from an author who's struggling to write properly (I had given up after finishing Descendance and Ascendance but continued trying after having come back. I will try to give writing a try again. I feel like sometimes I've forgotten how to write. Eh. So this starts of silly because gotta have some fun with shits and giggles before the angst. It starts getting serious somewhere in chapter 4 and from there, the angst will soon start.)
Angels and Demons Lament by miabgeminius
29 parts Complete
{Book 4} Death is not the end, for it is just a new beginning. We didn't ask to be, yet here we are. Neither do we get to choose what we are. However, we can choose who we wish to be. What matters is who you are, not what. - Mia B. Geminius, cover made by me (This is a continuation of my trilogy of Descendance, Ascendance, and Escapance, I highly suggest you do not begin reading this unless you don't mind the spoilers and then go back to read the rest. Thank you so much for your precious waste of time muahaha- ) No longer being a villain anymore, the star at the end of the river receives a chance to do good after being reborn again. A thousand years have passed and he has finished serving his time in hell to atone for all of his sins committed in his past two lives, one as a human and the other as a demon. Now it is the year 3048, three stories take place in the future where there are glass cities and flying cars. Angels and demons still exist. They always have since the beginning of time itself. Because with good, there is evil. The light and dark are the balance of this world. Will this reincarnated star meet the sun, moon, and other stars again? The stars have waited a thousand years to reunite once more. [Preview] "So we meet again, handsome. But this time you're getting in my way. Move aside and mind your own business. You saw how he's a piece of trash. Why did you save him? You angels are too much." "It is my duty to protect those who are being harmed by demons like you." "You're not doing your job then. You saw how he was harming me. Who's the demon here, him or me? Instead of stopping him, you chose to stop me. Humans are just the same as demons like me sweetheart. Are you new to this or what? I'll file a complaint to your God so you'll get fired. Some angel you are."
