Enemies, lovers, and something in between

After the war, Hogwarts offers an optional 8th year to help students reclaim a sense of normalcy-and their N.E.W.T.s. Harry, Ron, and Hermione return, but so does Draco Malfoy, facing his own demons and the weight of his family's past. As students are re-sorted into mixed Houses to promote unity, Harry and Draco find themselves reluctantly paired as roommates. What begins with tension, sharp words, and awkward silences slowly gives way to quiet understanding, shared late-night talks, and unspoken feelings. Between library study sessions, Quidditch scrimmages, and heated arguments that turn into lingering stares, Harry begins to realize that maybe, just maybe, there's more to Draco than he ever allowed himself to see. And maybe what he feels isn't hate anymore.
