The Deadly Bliss

The year was 2012.
An infectious disease dubbed by the media as "Jovian Fever" spreads across the United States with alarming speed. The virus, transmitted through contaminated water and bodily fluids, hijacks the brains of it's hosts, sending them into a constant state of manic euphoria and giving them a compulsive desire to infect others before the oversaturation of neurotransmitters leads to suicidal depression within four weeks. As more of the public falls victim, survivors struggle to evade the sick and find refuge until the military can somehow resolve the growing health crisis.
