❝AND I FEEL PERFECTLY FINE BUT I MISS
SCREAMING AND FIGHTING AND KISSING IN THE RAIN
AND ITS 2AM AND IM CURSING YOUR NAME
SO IN LOVE THAT YOU ACT INSANE AND THATS THE WAY I LOVED YOU ❞

For as long as Emberlyn Marlowe could remember, summer meant one thing - Cousins Beach.

Every June, without fail, she and her family would load up the car, windows down, singing along to old songs on the radio, chasing the familiar magic of three golden months spent by the ocean.

Waiting for them there were the Fishers and the Conklins - two families who had become just as much a part of her world as her own blood.

To Emberlyn, the summer house wasn't just a place.

It was a feeling - of home, of belonging, of never needing to explain yourself to be understood.

And in the center of all of it was him.

Conrad Fisher.

𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 Aarna never thought two pink lines could shake her world. She stood frozen, staring at the test in her trembling hands. Pregnant. A word she had longed to hear, yet feared the most. Would he accept it? Or would he push her away again, just like before? The door creaked open. Her heart pounded. Sharad's sharp gaze met hers. "What are you hiding?" Her breath hitched. She wasn't ready for this. Not yet.
