The Duke and Duchess of Winterset and their closest friends, the Duke and Duchess of Everly, have shared a lifelong bond-one passed down to their children: Lady Charlotte and Lord Jasper of Winterset, and Lady Abigail and Lord Philip of Everly. For years, the families jested that one day their children would marry and make the connection official.

As the young ladies prepare for their first Season, old friendships begin to shift and unexpected affections take root.
