Decades after the cataclysmic Great Kaiju War of 2004, humanity finds itself in a new era - one where colossal creatures, the Kaiju, are no longer related to myth. Towering behemoths with the power to level cities have emerged, their attacks a terrifyingly normal occurrence. Under the watchful eyes of the Earth Defense Force and the scientific minds of the Mega-Fauna Research Institute, humanity clings to a precarious 50% safety margin, striving to understand the ancient power that now walks the Earth.

But the uneasy balance is about to shatter. Godzilla, the true King of the Monsters, has returned, and he is not alone. Familiar Kaiju like the armored Anguirus, the aerial Rodan, the majestic Mothra, and even the heroic turtle Gamera and many other Kaiju have reawakened. Yet, their resurgence is not the only seismic shift.

From the depths of the cold void of space comes a malevolent new player: the Xilliens, a mysterious and technologically advanced alien race. Their sinister agenda involves the resurrection of an ancient terror. King Ghidorah, the three-headed harbinger of destruction. With Ghidorah at their command and an army of mind-controlled Kaiju at their disposal. The Xilliens are poised to unleash a wave of chaos upon the vulnerable Earth.
