Megumi Yamamoto isn't looking to stand out. After transferring to U.A. High from South Korea, all she wants is to stay focused, stay unnoticed, and keep her shadow-based quirk under control. But U.A. isn't the kind of place where anyone blends in for long-especially not in Class 2-A, where students are still trying to prove they belong.

Her classmates are a mix of talent and chaos: a girl who fires off spiraling waves of energy without thinking, a boy who can phase through walls but can't land on solid ground without falling over, and a quiet one who sprouts claws or wings depending on what he had for lunch. None of them are polished. None of them are perfect. But they're trying-and that's what Megumi notices most.
