Feathering Gems (William x OC)

At the age of ten, young Spade Kingdom noble girl Opal Rigby, the kind hearted daughter of veteran mage Lord Theron Rigby, is separated from her father when he teleports her and the country's remaining monarch Queen Ciel and infant heir Prince Yung out of the Spade Kingdom after they emerge from the kingdom's royal castle and make it to the bottom of the long path leading to the castle following the death of King Loyce at the hands of the evil Dark Triad during a takeover of the kingdom by them. Afterwards, Theron and the rest of the kingdom's citizens form a army to fight back against the villainous trio of mages. Elsewhere, Opal, whose birthday is January eighth, Ciel, who is now widowed as a result of Loyce's death, and Yuno end up in the small village of Hage and settle down there with the kind peasant woman Licita and her newborn daughter Asta. Fifteen years later, Opal, now a lovely young woman, and young church nun Sister Lily Aquaria bump into one of the Clover Kingdom's nine magic knight squad leaders the very moment they wrap up the errands for which the village church's owner Father Orsi Orfai had sent the two young women to the nearest town.
