For 10,000 years, the Cerkoik, a tyrannical alien race has been on a crusade to conquer the whole universe. Led by Emperor Oucxian, bit by bit they inch closer to our planet, Earth, in the Milky Way Galaxy. Planets have fallen either by death, capture, or surrender.
The universe's only hope is the 10 Celestial Dragons, each from a monumental race that came together as The Celestial Guardians. The dragons along with their artifacts, have been lost and only thought of as a legend. That is until the Sun and Moon dragons and artifacts fall into the hands of Princess Luna and Princess Solana, sisters of a fallen planet.
Each sister, separated and on opposite ends of the United States are waiting to be found by the chosen ones, which happen to be a group of teenagers who aid the princess' in their quest to save the universe.
The path isn't easy, but they are willing to risk it all to reclaim the universe and rid it of the Cerkoik and Emperor Oucxian, bringing peace and harmony back.
Together, through thick and thin, they become the next Celestial Guardians.
