Thus, a "kind" Ayanokouji arrives in ANHS. He may still be deadpan, unfeeling and monstrously skilled, but his methods will be "kind" - while his crueler machinations will never see the light of day. Just remember, the best lies are the ones people like to hear and want to believe.
