When the radios go silent, survival begins.

Staff Sergeant Cole and his squad were sent to guard a highway checkpoint-Amist a full scale invasion of the United States ,. But nine days have passed. No resupply. No orders. No contact. And no idea what the hell is going on.

When Cole ventures back to base with a single teammate, what they find is worse than abandonment-the base is empty, the streets are silent, and something has torn through the soldiers stationed there.

Then they find corporal Hallet .

He swears civilians turned feral. That he saw them eating each other .

Now Cole is racing against the setting sun, searching the ruins of his hometown for his missing wife and daughter. What he doesn't know is that the nightmare hasn't passed-it's waiting. Watching. Hungry.

And night is falling fast.

"Hey everyone, this is my first time trying to write a story. It's nowhere near finished, but I just wanted some honest feedback. I use some military lingo here and there-if you're unsure what something means, feel free to Google it. Thanks again, everyone. Hope you enjoy it! More of the story coming soon"

Sixteen-year-old Keira Calloway has always kept things in check; her family, her friends, herself. But with year eleven piling on and her home life pulling at the seams, the balance is slipping. Max Brannigan is the golden boy. Star footy player. Top of the class. Perfect on paper. But behind closed doors, perfection's a prison. Then Jack Doyle walks into St. Bellamy College. Quiet, guarded, and not looking to fit in. All he wants is to keep his head down. Until he meets Keira. What starts as friendship spirals into something messier, deeper. As secrets surface and lines blur, loyalty is tested, hearts are on the line, and Keira must decide how far she'll go to protect the people she loves, and what silence might cost her.
