The fury of the wronged

A Sea Serpent, thrown out of their Pod, their Pack, their Family, decided after long travel to finally settle down. The Nightmares of their actions and the accident that destroyed everything still haunt them. The rotten ship, long sunken, became their only home and the island with its shallow reef and kelp forest, their only treasure. Besides the literal treasure they hoard in the ship. But the Nightmares circle back each year to remind them of what they've lost. One day that routine is shaken up by a stranded, and frankly furious, little pirate that may or may not own about half the things in that serpent's hoard.

A Pirate, ridiculed by their own crew gets thrown off their ship during a storm. The issue? Well, thrown is, in this case less because of the storm and more so because their crew decided they were too much of a nuisance. The kid they were supposed to train had wormed its way in their heart all too quickly, making it impossible to just leave behind. Besides, they were going to get their revenge one way or another. Even if the island they washed ashore on, seemed to be guarded by the very thing people tell horror stories about and that they've only ever heard about in tales for children. Nevertheless, armed with their last possessions and all the knowledge you can get from childrens tales and the ramblings of a lunatic they went on. They just didn't realise that fighting wasn't necessary
